Boomtown Cafe

Boomtown Cafe began in 1995 as a non-profit restaurant that served affordable and nutritious food to Seattle's homeless and low-income residents and workers. What sets Boomtown apart from other feeding programs is that Boomtown functions like a business. We are the only non-profit restaurant in the State of Washington where people can use their food stamp cards for hot food or work to pay for a portion of their meals. We believe in the opportunity for people to contribute to society and the Café provides the opportunity for an important value exchange to take place.
